Vertical wood blinds offer the perfect window treatment for rooms that are typically well lit. Dens, dining rooms and living rooms are all prime examples of rooms in which vertical blinds will make a beautiful statement. Vertical wood blinds are easy to maintain and can be easily pulled to allow in the sun’s rays when you want sunlight in the room. You can close them tightly when you want to block out the outside world.

Bamboo shades have not been on the market as long as many other types of wood blinds, but have become increasingly popular. When down, bamboo shades allow light to filter into a room, but still block out any prying eyes from the outside. While there are many other choices of wood blinds available, these seem to be the most popular.
